Democratic Women's Club Meeting
Our Book Club read Dirt Road Revival last year. The author, Chloe Maxmin, will be a featured guest speaker at our Democratic Central Committee's (DCC) June 18th meeting on Zoom.
Please plan to attend and hear Chloe - she has a lot to say about how Democratic candidates can WIN in rural areas.

Democratic Women's Club Meeting
Thursday, May 9 - 6-8pm on Zoom
Speaker: Melissa Keyzer, President, Buckeye Education Foundation
Melissa is president of the Buckeye Education Foundation, the non-profit support organization serving the TK-8 Buckeye Union School District which spans portions of EDH, Cameron Park and Shingle Springs.
Melissa will speak about the emerging threat to school governance that has been developing over the past few months at the local district level. Hear how political partisanship is pushing into formerly apolitical local school board meetings in an unprecedented way, due to a coordinated effort by particular interest groups to infiltrate and influence school boards across the county, and what you can do about it.
